Then, once we’ve recorded everything we want to, live, we then return to base for Editing and Mixing. This process is done with you acting as Co-Producers, ensuring it’s exactly as you want it to be. Overdubs are also available during the Editing & Mixing Stage.
Now we have the Audio recorded and back to base, we can now all put our heads together and produce a Professional Audio CD with UNLIMITED TAKES and UNLIMITED CHANNELS. Within the Studio we have access to Thousands of Effects, Processors and Plug-ins. Now, although we have access to them, it does not necessarily mean that we have to use them all on every track.
Most recordings are better off being kept ‘Clean’ and ‘Dry’ of effects; (obviously depending on the genre of the music you are trying to create) as sometimes a heavily effected track can wash away the essence of the sound you are trying to generate.
This is where the expression ‘…less is more…’ is very relevant.
